Fun fact - the last of the Metra bar cars was on the C&NW, with a full bar set up in the vestibule, blocking the doors. I was riding the C&NW Northwest line during those years, the bar car was where the fun was at on the way home...

I remember the bar cars! Used to take the Milwaukee west line every day. It was definitely where the fun was. Not sure I ever bought anything though, haha

Used to take the MD-W every day! Went right through that inters ection all the time
